Somehow i can't picture Reginald and Beatrice attending a Steak and Pig Hootenanny...LOL
Local or just amusing sayings...
There is a saying that seems to be localized, it has always tickled my funny-bone. (However, my imagination and sense of humor being what it is, may be why..)
Local saying....
So have any of you heard anyone say... "Go Pound Salt"? I have not heard this used outside of NE Ohio, except by people from that area. This makes me laugh everytime i hear it, and the image it creates... riot!
Non Local..
You are invited to a Steak and Pig Soiree.......LOL Why wouldn't it be Cow and Pig, or Cow and Pork, or Steak and Pork.......And why the French, Soiree.. ..sounds more sophisticated...? "I say, Reginald,... Shall we attend the Steak and Pig Soiree this year..?" LOL
