Time out
Everytime I get on this site, I get timed out and have to log in again. Or if my post is lengthy, I end up losing my post and have to log in again. Can I change this somehow?

The site is experiencing some problems, it's not you...
The best thing that I can suggest is as you are typing copy it, (control c) and keep typing, then copy again, so that if it doesn't post, you end up with most or all of your text, to try again....

No, it is a global setting. 20 minutes (I believe) and you are logged out due to non activity. What I always recommend... Type your posts in another program ie notepad, word, etc., then copy and paste. You can also just continue to type it in WH, however for lengthy post I ALWAYS highlight and COPY it before hitting the submit button, that way, if you are logged out, all you have to do is log back in and paste it into the box and then submit.
Aside from the site just being slower then molasses the last couple of weeks.

Using the "Advanced" mode when replying seems to do better too. And you get options of colors and text size and such.

That's weird... I never get logged out. If you log in at the top right, check the box that says "Remember me" then click the log in button. I can stay logged in all day if I want, and I've never been automatically logged out even if I'm inactive for hours.
