I have an association with another Real Estate Agent, he is so up himself it's not funny

He has a toupe but he writes this wicked spill on a dating site, about how he sees a woman, I'd buy it

But then he talks to us about the models he went out with they weren't young enough or the hair colour was wrong or they want more

It's in-security and vanity but then what about us?

Not all girls get their nails done, hair coloured for vanity rather something we like?

Do we fit into that?

A lot do it simply for the attention. They may personally have nothing going for them, no education, no real steady job (ie starting as a model doing this or that gig but not really making money), they may think they are dumb and cannot make it to school (even if they are smart enough), no real current plan in life so they overcompensate by dolling themselves up for the attention. Sort of well if I cannot get a nice job at the agency then at least I can make my hair poofy and cake my face with thick makeup in order to get myself a rich man.

bumping because it's a good thread.

How many things do you try to do yourself, instead of forking out money, ie) trim your hair or colour.

I'm kind of self taught in a variety of things so far so good and if bad, well I get on the phone and go help lols...But, ie) hairdressers $200 later, when I can do it for $20, I don't see the sense in it, other than feeling special sitting there being looked after, the little head massage

If know I CAN do something myself, or I have enough confidence that I can, I will. If I think it's something I can handle I might look it up online. Otherwise I'll call a friend or family member to help and perhaps learn from them, if not I leave it to the professionals.

It's good to be self-sufficient.
