What is your favorite type and why? What does it do for you?

I love all chocolate, especially the dark chocolate. Eating Hershey's Special Dark right now-

Any Swiss chocolate is wonderful. American is okay, but the really good stuff is in Europe.

Honestly, chocolate is the fastest way to turn me on. It's THAT good sitting on my palate... it's like all melty and creamy- just like I'd like my wife to be all over my tongue, ohhh yeah!!!!!!!

    Not really...

I'm not a huge chocolate fan. I had an allergy to chocolate for about 15 years, don't exactly know why or what, but now I just don't have that "chocolate" urge everyone else seems to have. lol However, I don't mind myself a really good brownie every once in a blue moon.

However, sour stuff, OH YES!!! Lemonheads or Sweetarts and I'm in HEAVEN! LOL

Not really. I like a good milk chocolate but only those Lindor balls, nothing dark, and I do not like to eat it as a bar. I am definitely more into the sour candy stuff like Lana...sour soothers, sour patch kids, even sour gumballs lol.

LOL - My hubby cannot understand it. If him or the kids have a Hershey's bar, I ask for half of the little bar that breaks apart. He's like you can't even taste that, that's not even a nibble! LOL - well, that's all I can stand or want.

Since I don't drink coffee, every once in a while I'll have a cup of hot chocolate, but even then, it's about twice a year, lol.

I LOVE chocolate! The darker the better.

Chocolates made with strong Dutch Cocoa is best. Good thing I have family in Holland who bless me with the best of the best every year for my birthday! Belgian chocolates don't even compare. Hershey's Special Dark isn't even in the same realm.

Also love German chocolates infused with brandy, not usually dark, but even with it being milk chocolate the brandy gives it the bitterness I love.

Ugh... I need to go chocoloate shopping and/or suck up to my aunts/cousins overseas for some more deliciousness now! Thanks MarkT

I like the sour stuff too, but nothing will ever do it for me like chocolate!

Skittles, SweetTarts and such are my thing too.

2 things I have always loved together is a Snickers candy bar and a good grapefruit. Yes, it throws your taste buds into shock, but it's good!

The good chocolate comes from Canada, in my book. Yum-o.
I like my chocolate any old way, but if given a choice between candies, I'll go for a fruity flavor every time.

Now I can see, I must be a real chocoholic!

Sorry KMonte85, I didn't mean to cause a Chocoholic Emergency!!! Those Are Bad!!! I get them all the time, at least once a week.

I'm a chocoholic and very picky about it. I won't touch milk chocolate or convenience story candy bars. Hershey's dark tastes burnt so I won't eat it. I like it dark and smooth. The least dark I will consume is Dove dark promises or Russell Stover truffles.
I agree that the European chocolate is better but American laws have created some odd ball limits on chocolate making.

Lana I react to certain brands which is what got me totally away from cheap chocolate. Stuff by Mars causes my tongue to swell and I know someone who's roof of their mouth will go spongy and start bleeding from it. I don't know what they use but it is nasty.

Given my fiance's ex-wife is a pastry chef, and makes outstanding ganaches, there is no such thing as chocolate in our house unless it's Swiss, or hers guess my step-daugther and fiance were spoilt all their lives, she is a competitor so they travelled the World a little visiting all the chocolate outlets, as she performed for gold...
