    hi,
I met a girl last weekend and taking her out for our "first date" t his coming weekend but I am stuck for ideas.
What would you women recommend for a first date? Something fun and would like to leave a lasting impression.

    Thanks in advance

A little more info would be helpful.

Where did you meet her, Age, what kind of job does she have, what kind of area do you guys live in , City, rural, what entertainment options do you have , zoo's museums, concerts ?

Do you know any of her friends or co workers that you could ask about things she likes. You wouldn't want to reserve a romantic table at a Seafood restaurant.
    if she hated seafood.
You have a few days so see what else you can find out about her likes and Dislikes.

Meet at a coffee house or something similar where there is live music playing (guitar?) in the background.

Start out with a casual evening sipping coffee or some other beverage with good conversation in casual surroundings with nice music. Then, if you decide you would like to continue the date, suggest to her that you go some place for a bite to eat. If she agrees, then do it. Have a couple of places in mind ahead of time and be willing to make the decision. Unless you know she's a sports fan, avoid a 'sports bar' and instead go to a sandwich shop, cafe or local restaurant.

Don't try to over impress her by doing too much too fast. Let the first date go with the flow. A casual relaxed atmosphere is probably "best" for the first date. If the date is still going on and both are enthusiastic about it, then after dinner suggest you go to a night club or bar with a similar environment.

By dividing your first date up into stages, you each have the opportunity to end it after each stage without offending the other.

    Good luck!
