Bf and presents?
Ok so its my birthday soon and I wanted to get my boyfriend a gift on that day.
I don't know if he is getting me a gift for my birthday but I wanted to get him something.
Does anyone else do that or Has anyone else done it before?
Do you think its ok to do it?

He better get you a gift, he's your boyfriend, birthdays are to me, special they are not a man made day,well a man helped it happen but you know what I mean
I have to say I have never bought a present for my boyfriend on my own birthday? Why do you feel you want to do this? It's your day not his, a gift for him for no reason on any day is a good idea, but on your birthday it should be, in my opinion, all about you.

Personally I feel like CW, Birthdays are for the celebration of the day the person was born and celebrating the years of Life.
Getting another a gift on your special day, to me, would only be appropriate on Anniversary's.
Now if you are anticipating a thoughtful gift from him, you can always buy yourself ( and him} a gift , maybe a new Nightie or Teddy, where you can tell him that it is your Birthday and ask him to unwrap you .
I'd go with babygirl's idea. Giving someone else a present on your birthday seems like it could be awkward for them.
No gift for him.
It's your day and his to celebrate you.
