    United States = sexual retardation

I hear that the Netherlands are great when it comes to the subject, but I don't think we have any Dutch members here.

I truly cannot comment on any other Country Per Se , as I have never lived in any of them. I have been to several Countries, including ones in Europe, South and Central and of course North America, with territories in Canada and Mexico visited. Asia and Africa, the Caribbean Islands and a few places that are " ruled by other Countries, that fit in the major Continents above.

But those were just Vacations or Hunting Trips.

The only two I feel I can comment on is South Africa and Mexico. The True Mexico ( not the Tourists Spots ) is a very Poor Country, with Mostly Wonderful people in spite of their Simple lives and Poverty and daily struggles just to survive.
In my Opinion, their Government needs to change some things to make it so their People are Proud of their Qwn Country and make it so they can Survive and Prosper.

South Africa, I can only comment on from my 33 day stay there in 1979 and another trip in 1982, when Apartheid was still the " Politics " in which it was an afrikaans ( Dutch White People ) word meaning "separateness" - it was a legal system whereby people were classified into racial groups - White, Black, Indian and Colored; and separate geographic areas were demarcated for each racial group. Apartheid laws were part of South Africa's legal framework from 1948 to 1994.

The thing there that distressed me the most , was the Nationals, including many of the White/ Dutch people, were not allowed to comment negatively on anything their Government did.

To Do So, if reported, was a Prison-able offense. When we asked any questions about their Laws or Rules or Policies.
Our Friends, whom owned Game Ranches, had to look around and see who was watching or hearing their replies. And we were Sworn , as good friends to never to repeat any complaints they had of their Government.
We were also warned not to talk about their Government in any negative way in any place public that could reflect on them .

As far as I know, many things have changed and are better now, though one of our Game Rancher Friends, actually moved here to America in 1992.

    Other than that.
Most of the Countries I have been in, had/have . their Beauty and their " Ugly '. Including our own. And even here, State by State, has their issues.

I like the USA, just think it's currently going in the wrong direction. With a smaller govt and less "ruling", it would be a Great nation.

My nation Canada = nice and passive lol, though the passiveness could be called a problem as well.

USA = great people for the most part but too many extremists.

I've never known this board to get "leaned on" by any government to remove posts that might cast a negative view on any certain country, and it won't in the future. Feel free to say whatever you like about any country. If you have any questions about disciplinary acts concerning this thread, please feel free to PM or email me and I will discuss it privately.

In order to answer accurately one would need to grasp the so called group/nation consciousness, so the view does not reflect a judgement.
A very difficult thing to be able to do...

In all the years and times I have across with the "US" I have been amazed by the freshness and "youth" of the people (ndlr: people as the collective perception of the nation).
At the same time, I also feel that as a nation, its spirit is at pivotal point for a great transformation, from a spiritual level standpoint.
Very much like the Earth actually.

Well, all good stuff. Without offending people, and without being too general, I could say that I like the Australians attitude to enjoying life, but not their ability to take defeat graciously. As for my country, we are too tolerant of minorities. We let the tail wag the dog, and that is causing racial unrest. I do like the fact that we always try to be fair with other people of other nations. Sounds like I've contradicted myself, but haven't really. As for Americans, I like their attitiude in advancing themselves in all fields. I don't like the perceived arrogance that comes across that they are always best, and yes, worrying it seems like too many extremists over there as well. Opposite ends of the same stick as other fundamentalists in the middle east in fact!. Feel free to make a view about England or Britain if you want to. We should keep it friendly like we were having a discussion on the sofa of one of our own houses, as a group.

England ? It seems like the country is also trying to re-invent itself.
There is a strong aspect of being the aggressor , so it seems for the last 200 years England has not attacked anybody.
A very competitive (small) group of people for sure

The minorities that are flocking are a result from that.
Eventually it will all settle down.

Good point maximus. being an aggressor is usually wrong, except or course when you are faced with, for example, a Nazi controlled country. Being passive all the time does not work either. My view is you should be peaceful with all peoples unless they try to force their views/ways on you. Then that is the time to stand up and fight for what you believe in. Britain is responsible for some bad things in the past, but, like most other countries, it is also repsonsible for a lot more good. Look at what has happened to nearly every African country that has thrown out colonial rule so that it could have it's freedom. Every one has had huge problems or corruption, savagery, civil wars etc. I'm not saying colonialism was perfect, far from it. But there was not half so much trouble going on. As for Switzerland, everyone loves the country, but what does it stand for? In fact, when does it ever stand up and be counted?
