Default Vacation plans

I am looking into a family vacation for next month. I was thinking either New York or Hawaii. Has any one been to either of these places in the summer months. I have heard both places are really humid. When I checked on line the weather is in the 80's for both places. I would hate to get there and it be too humid. Also has anyone been there with there kids? I would love to hear your experiences.

I live in new york city. Were you planning to visit the city or upstate new york? It does get really humid here for the summer but it is bearable. The city is pretty busy but there are lots of things you can do. Like go to museums, zoos, take the fairy to the statue of liberty. I think New York city is one of the best place for a vacation especially when you have kids. Theres lots of exciting things going on. Theres also coney island, the kids might enjoy that, its like a theme park near the beach. You can look into it more on the new york websites.
