some tv dramas and movies always seem to have a guy being hit in the groin. do you laugh at the guys who get hit in the groin on the funny video shows?
For the same reason people chuckle when someone falls.
What I see more of than women hitting men in the groin, is men hitting other men in the groin.

I don't find it funny, but I do find it a little bit sexy.
Anybody seen the car insurance commercial from Safe Auto? It might be regional to the Midwest, but that's all it is... with the question "Does your car insurance feel like this?" (or something similar...). An intersting and very graphic way to promote car insurance.
I've never figured out what is so funny about something so painful.
I do not think it is funny during non-funny times like a woman absolutely POd at a man and kicks him. But have you ever watched America's Funniest Home Videos? That is when it is funny....when it is intended to be funny, like accidental hitting.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
