Cant Handle This Stress

I dont know how much more stress I can handle I broke down last night crying my eyes out over everything, the fact my holidays are coming up this friday and my car decided to break this morning the alternator went in it and the cost is 800 to fix and i honestly dont have that kinda money right now as rent and bills are due friday, looks like i wont be enjoying my holidays next week as I will not have a car to drive to go anywhere or do anything, hubby can still get places as he has a motorcycle but i cant

the car has been on the road for 2 months now and already we have replaced timing belt, tensioner and water pump now the alternator, this car was given to us by hubbys mom and it erks me she would even give us something like this when she knows well we cant afford to fix it the money she got from the car if she was to have sold it would have been nicer for us to go and buy a car that we could afford to fix, btw the car we have is an audi, hubby had to walk home from work this morning as the car died on his way home. Sad part is his mom wont even help us pay for the part to get it back on the road as soon as this car gets on the road and we get the rust fixed on the fender its gone im not going to go into debt every time this thing breaks we were given the car for free and to get it on the road it has cost us 2 grand now we are up to 2800 for that price we could have boughten two cars already. My friend is taking me on friday to get my tattoo that I have had booked for awhile now i need to do something for myself as all my money goes into rent bills groceries and i have nothing left, my tatty is cheap only 50 bucks but i have not treated myself to anything since christmas. Sorry i just had to let it all out....thanks for listening

If it makes you feel better, I'm not going to have any holidays this summer either, all my friends are on holidays with their boyfriends, my car is 2.500 kms away from my current location, I can't find a job no matter how hard I try, I currently have no income and no relationship and I haven't had any great time since April

I know I can't help you much with this, but it might make you feel a little bit better knowing that things could always be worse and that there are many more people out there who struggle in one way or another

Finances are the most highest reason why people get stressed

It is so hard to do what you would like to do, when there is not sufficient funds left over every week and there will always be other things that just pop in un-expectedly to make things even harder, adding more stress.

You're not alone in this, it's everywhere hun.

Changing jobs, adding a small part time job, for me, working harder to gain more listings therefore more sales, is the only way to get out of the financial debt sides of things.

Do you think your Mother-in-law would honestly understand that this car is now a "lemon" and so appreciated given you didn't have a car, but can you trade it in for one that doesn't cost any more money in repairs? And, also, do you have any mechanical friends or friends of friends that can take a total look at it to confirm it is a lemon, or that this would be the last amount of money needed to be spent on it for a long time, as all other parts have been fixed, so you can show that report to her if it turns out that be the case, it's a lemon...
