What candy bar or snack do you grab at the grocery store for the ride home?

I always find myself grabbing a mounds bar! I love them. Does anyone else grab a snack while waiting in the checkout line or going through the store specifically for the ride home?

    I usually don't get a ride-home snack, but on the occasion I do ...
3 Musketeers Bars and Starbucks-brand coffee drinks
And on road trips, MnM's, Skittles, and the Chex Mix that comes in the black bag and tastes like garlic, yum!

Mmm Musketeers or Mars bar... M&Ms... definitely potato chips for road trips, preferably sour cream and onion. I can remember back to my itty bitty childhood, having potato chips in the car. What a tradition.

Jalepeno Chex Mix. Though this rarely happens because I never go in a gas station.... pay at the pump.

I often think it would be nice to be able to do so. Then I think about the calories (useless calories) and how long it will take me to burn them off. Since it's not an even exchange...in my book...too little reward for way too much exercise effort...I generally skip them altogether.

During PMS, this line of reasoning doesn't exist. LOL!!!!

I usually don't grab anything for the ride home except when I shop at the natural food market. They have bulk bins of all kinds of nuts. I get a pound of macadamia nuts and can't resist eating about half of them on the way home.

Teriyaki favored Nori, My kind of "chips " or Pork Rinds. Depending on mood.

The coolest is My family hates Nori but don't mind it as the Sushi wrap. But then again , it's more for me and Healthier than the Potato Chips,

For the Pork Rinds, There is no Excuse other than My body desires whatever Crunchy Cracklin, Melt in mouth, " Fat of a Porker" that it needs .. lol

Then though.. Similar to Chaya, I am not a Diabetic, more the Severe Hypo, so Snacks and Cravings and " Treats ". Must be balanced evenly in order to have the Pancreas to adjust the insulin out put and input. And This I have " Mastered " by Diet, after 25 years of being Diagnosed SRH and because I am Scared to Death Of Needles.

If I ever go " Full Blown Diabetic", I'll either Die or find away to have the Shunt put in, so as not to have Injections.

For Now, It's Diet, Choices and When and What and How to Eat .. So Road Trips, Get what you want or Need. And let them Go " Yuck" at your choices.
