Well weighing the pros and cons of switching jobs has been difficult, as both are about even. I have been told though that if I quit my company and go for this new job, my current employer will blackball me from the industry as well as burn contracts for the new employer. Kind of a nice way to say "we own you" isn't it. I love my job but I don't want to be doing this 10yrs from now. Time to pray I guess.
well, i reworked my resume today and officially started my job search. i can't stand this job anymore. yesterday, walked by the bosses office and the lights were off and he was sleeping. grrr. i won't quit but i am going to start a serious job search. when i get home, i am gonna print my resume and apply to the three jobs that i have found so far that sound interesting. i am also going to start a notebook so i can track where i have applied and the follow up i have done.

And if I were you, I would use my lil Camera in my Cell phone, to Document his sleeping and such. That way he can't just fire you or let you go if he gets wind of your Job Searching.
Another thing you can do, not sure if you use Computers for your work or not. But you can always have a " Watermark or Signature " on all of your work. Proving you did it, not someone else. You can make them almost invisible and if copied it will show up.
My Daughter does this in/on all of her artwork or graphics.
Not only the " Sky " Signature part but embedded in the rest of the Wings and tail is her (which I cropped for her ) as she has (C) on it . It will print on any paper or reproduction of it. Unless of course you are proficient with CS4 and and above and a Great " Artist " .

So Cyn, even a lil ole mark or sig, can protect your work. Your Hard earned work and abilities.
And when you get the new job, let them know that you validate and accept any and all Credits and Responsibilities for your Work.
P.S. I think my daughter did good on this Challenge, I asked her to draw me an Eagle . Helloooo Eagle's don't have Lions feet ?? or Do they ?
So out of 50 plus applicants , we finally get 2 that passed the Background check and the Drivers Record check.
I was excited, Finally a little help around the store. So i get to work after a day off and ask a Co worker how " T " is working out ?
He says " Don't think he will be with us long " .
Why I ask ? He says the kid has a Green Card.
So , as long as he can Legally work in the USA, That's No Biggy .
" No, you don't understand, he has a GREEN CARD !! Medical Marijuana kind "
OMG !! He can't drive our Commercial Trucks then . Why The Frack was he Hired ?
