This is my new kitten, Lyra. It's the name the shelter gave her, I thought it suited her so I kept it.

Awwww how adorable. I'm glad you adopted from a Shelter instead of Buying some expensive kitten from a Breeder .. Kudo's on that !!!

I'm not some PETA Activist, but I think it's much better to save an Animals life, than to support backyard breeders who are only in it for the Money. Though there are legit Breeders that breed for Show and Quality, but they are rare.

I'm like ...a dog? a cat? man if I was awake a little longer, maybe I would have gone, "a cat?"

She is a little cutie, I love her colours and obviously happy and content..

"Lyra where did that bowl of chicken meat go?" ...Lyra looks over at door.... "Lyer" they spelt your name wrong, I can see a piece hanging out of your mouth

Have fun, I know the little one that walked up onto my decking, and never left I would more than miss if I never saw him again, although my daughter named him..Mr Bigs, off course I've abrieviated it.

Lol CW... she hasn't been eating all that much, but I suppose she's still adjusting to her new life here. I'm going to get a scratching post for her so she doesn't claw at my furniture... but I couldn't stay mad at that face no matter what she does.

give her some milk, water it down a little... And buy her a small toy mouse, so she can show you that she's a killer of a cat

I so miss the Kitten stage. The Just rescued, Just born, the You cannot see one with out Helping or Smiling.

But they sadly do Grow up..

A pic of our Dizzy as we named her ..
With her Mama, which was my Daughters 16th birthday gift . Almost 6 years later, They are Inseparable.

The poor cat had to learn to live with our Other Family ..

Then move in with her New Buddy " and take over the Home .

Bird on Left Cat on Right ..

Amazing how they adapt to Our Love.

Aw BG, that's so cute. Yup I'm enjoying the kitten stage while it lasts, though she wants my attention constantly and I need to not give in to her whining because then she'll be doing it all the time. I'm glad I got her though, it's easy to get lonely when you live and work alone.
