I did it!!! Got a new job!
Craziness... After 10 years, I've resigned after being offered a (hopefully) great position with a new company.
This was such a long process, I applied for this position in July and after 2 phone interviews and 2 face to face interviews, it's mine. This is a new position for the company, so they have built this position around me, my skills, and my knowledge, which feels incredibly awesome.
My resignation was bittersweet though for many many reasons. I cried my eyes out before I sent my resignation to my boss and HR. Even though I have been unhappy for a while, it is still sad. I've spent 10 years there, it has been my professional life for a long long time. I'm still pretty sad about it but know in the end this is the best for me.
I know I will always have a job to come back to should this one not work out but it feels good. But right now I'm just not professionally fulfilled there anymore.
*sigh* I'm definitely happy with my decision. Nervous, but very happy. Next stop, shopping. LOL, It is a business to business casual dress code. I've worked from home and/or in a very casual environment for the last 10 years. I live in flip flops and shorts, LMAO.

Thanks! Yep... I'm getting more and more excited. My recruiter called and said the company is crazy excited for me to start too. It's a good feeling, to feel appreciated anyways.

Congrats woman! that is really awesome! I know it must be hard to leave, but this is going to be good for you! You will do AMAZING! And enjoy buying some new clothes!!
