Red is often a hard colour for people to pull off.
Honestly, with your hair -- the best I could suggest is go to a hair dresser and get them to do what they think would look good.

Me, I make my own Colors, by buying 2 colors and mixing them Half and Half. Usually a Currant Red and a Medium Brown, so it doesn't come out Brassy red,
It turns out pretty good, with my Greys being more of a Highlighted Dark Cherry over a Dark Reddish Brown.
Just experiment, and remember with the Newer dyes, it's less harmful that it used to be to change colors in a day or two. If not happy with one shade.
