I had my yearly gynecologist appointment and we were talking about trying to get me to orgasm. She mentioned a different type of toy than just a vibrator. She said is like a little suction cup that goes over your clitoris and it stimulates it. Anyone have a clue what she was talking about?

There's a website called "extreme restraints" (I know external links aren't allowed, but if I'm also not allowed to give names of pages without the link, someone please let me know) that has clitoral stimulators. You can also just google "clitoral stimulators" and find a variety of web pages that sell them. I've had great luck with stuff from ER, though. I believe some of the items they have are what your doctor is talking about.

I'm sorry to hear that another year has passed and you are still not getting the orgasms you want. What did she say about your efforts so far? What other advice did she give? Best of luck.

JNS, she didn't say too much. She suggested this toy which I have bought but haven't tried yet. My main problem now is focusing on a fantasy and keeping with it. Or just keeping myself in the right mood without distracting myself, asking myself if I feel anything. She said I pretty much have gotten to the point right before the orgasm, which I had kind of figured. Which is the sweating, my hips pretty much wanting to rotate on its own. The really tensing of my muscles in my legs and arms at the final point and even, having that sudden need for wanting more. But I can never get past that so far. And the reason is mainly because I'm not focused enough on a fantasy or in the mood enough. She suggested soft porn because regular porn definitely is not a turn on for me. I haven't found any DVDs yet with soft porn that interest me. I haven't looked too hard though. She mentioned Cinemax's b rated movies but I don't get Cinemax.

So who knows. I just have to find some time and really get myself in the mood. That is the hard part for me.
