Well I'm ahead of schedule! I was able to find the time to do most of the grocery shopping last night (except for the shrimp, don't want to get that this early)! They even had a perfect 10 lb ham that is going to be so delicious

Since the shopping is done, that means tonight will be the start of cleaning (tidying up, hiding the clutter lol) and getting a big chunk of wrapping presents done too! Then tomorrow is the big clean, and laudry (washing the tablecloths, napkins, etc), finishing wrapping, and finishing the last minute decorations. Friday will be last minute shopping, prepping the meal, and getting the place settings out and ready. Then we're already to Saturday!! GAME ON!

I'm being bold and trying out a new recipe for Christmas too. Nothing fancy, just a side so if it doesn't turn out it's no big loss. But this is the maiden voyage, and I usually never serve my first try at a recipe to guests Oh well! It's Paula Deen approved so I know it will taste good (but not be good for the waistline lol)

I still have to wrap EVERYTHING!!! My tree is completely bare underneath.

We kept everything pretty simple this year. For extended family, we are sending new family photos. We haven't had a family photo done of us in years! And they turned out absolutely wonderful, lol. We took them outside in the mountains (kind of).

I still have some things to get, plus it is hubby's birthday tomorrow. Family and friends coming in, house to clean, blah blah!

Don't you hate birthdays in between ? We have two as well so added presents.

Well, I am pleased to say, I've shopped out, just some money to take out, a couple of food items and one item to wrap. OMG
    it feels good.

No wait? The house has to be cleaned again before the day, food prepared the day before, a couple of Ducks to pre-cook and a Goose, strawberries dipped in chocolate to do, toffee done, tick, christmas puddings cheated, cut the platter food, plant the extra plants so the garden is well, more colourful, clean the rabbit area, oh well I thought it was getting there lols.

I'm finally done with the gifts. all wrapped. I am Off today, so have to do the Christmas dinner shopping.

Thankfully had a change in Plans, Oldest Daughter decided to not work Christmas day. So she and hubby will be down Sunday instead of Saturday, Christmas Eve.

Which really lightened my mood as I won't have to work until 4 pm Christmas Eve,pray my younger daughter kept an eye on the Turkey, as I would have had to put it in at 6 am. then come home and fix the trimmings after being at work for 9 hours.

Now I can just get up early and not be stressed over the meal fixins.

But today, I have so much to do, I hope I can fit it all in, as I work the next 2 days. Which may seem, that I'm complaining, which I am. lol
This being because I am Night Blind and cannot drive in the dark. So during this season, when I get off work at 4 or 4:30, I am home bound .

Anyway, I'm in a much less Bah Humbug Mood . And that's a good thing .
