i was laying in bed late last night & the idea for this thread popped in my head.

this is just for fun... i thought we could all use a few good laughs :)

    - everyone you meet is better than you at something.

    - children are remarkably honest creatures until we teach them not to be.

    - yelling ALWAYS makes things worse.

    - every problem you have is YOUR responsibility, regardless of who caused it.

    - high quality is worth any quantity, whether it be possessions, friends, or experiences.

    - if you aren't happy single, you won't be happy in a relationship.

    - "gut feelings” are not just euphemisms. tension in the abdomen speaks volumes about how you truly feel about something, beyond all arguments and rationales.

    - everyone thinks they're an above average driver.

    - words are immensely powerful -- one cruel remark can ruin someone's life.

    - try as we might to be otherwise, we are all hypocrites.

feel free to add to the list :)

    - each time you smile at someone, you make them smile, you make their day.

    - I can of my own self do nothing.

    - Those that believe they can and really believe they can, can and will.

    - A picture tells a thousand words

    - Hug a tree it will ground you

    - Do not judge people, they are who they are

    - Never stop being yourself

    - Love until the day you die, yes you will get hurt but keep loving especially yourself
Do we not realise that in order to find a soul
    It doesn't happen over night
if truth were to be told.

Like everything in life that's hard to achieve
    you must believe!

    - problems, when they arise, are rarely as painful as the experience of fearing them.

    - most of what children learn from their parents is not taught on purpose.

    - a good nine out of ten bad things i've worried about never happened... a good nine out of ten bad things that did happen never occurred to me to worry about.

    - life is a solo trip and although you'll have many visitors, some will stay but most will not.

    - the ability to be happy is nothing other than the ability to come to terms with how things change.

    - killing time is an atrocity. it's priceless & it never grows back.

Do not be opposed to learning something from someone else
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.

Dying in bed of old age is not the best way to go, its the worst.

The perfect time never comes, so don't wait for it.

If you are suspicious of everyone you may never be cheated, but you will live in a world filled with people that you don't trust. If you trust everyone, you may be cheated now and then, but you will live in a world filled with people you can trust.

That the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Trust until that trust is broken don't search for a reason not to

~ live one day at a time: don't fret over past regret, there is nothing you can do to change it; don't waste time worrying about the future, for it's not here yet; just live for today, for right now, and make NOW the best that you can

~ do not rely on others for your own happiness

~ never do anything you already know you'll regret

~ never take the people you love for granted, for they may not be here tomorrow

    ~ trust your instinct

~ don't hold a grudge, for the person you are holding it against doesn't know, and doesn't care, but you are carrying the burden, and it's a heavy one.
