LOL - Honestly, I don't really have a lot of friends, people I consider true friends, probably less than 5. I don't trust a lot of people. I keep in touch with very very few people, I know it is sad. I have a lot of acquaintances, just not people I would call true friends, not people I'd talk to about anything personal. During soccer seasons for my boys, I have great conversations with all the other moms but again, once soccer season is over, then we all go about our lives for the next 3-4 months until the next season and we pick up where we left off.

I think a lot of it is also that we rely on technology WAY TO MUCH! Gone are the days where people actually have to pick up the phone and call someone. Between e-mails, IM, text, etc etc., it takes a lot of the personal contact away. I think I'm the last person standing without a facebook account, lol. I have my account on LinkedIn, but again, that is strictly professional networking which goes back to being a workaholic.
    Friendship Prayer
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person who screws up your day and may their arms be too short to scratch.
    Amen

Whoever said anything was possible obviously never tried slamming a revolving door.

That is so true but as Ace just pointed out, I get to be with her every day, sort of in her life, watching her grow and laughing at her Cat too if she would darn post

Do we not realise that in order to find a soul
    It doesn't happen over night
if truth were to be told.

I think facebook is important when people are overseas, I know Skype is there for that, but then it's one only person at time, I'd rather check up on everyone lols...

Not a workaholic, but I cannot seem to sit idle. I have to be doing something all the time. As for communication, well I do phone family as all are not within close proximity to me. But must admit, I text with my boys, as that seems to be a better forum, (tee-hee-hee!) for them.

I also don't believe I'm an Workaholic. Though I do find myself, not Feeling " finished" with the job or customers problem, just because I have to clock out at the end of my shift. Many times , I have "taken work home with me " Off the Clock and not getting paid for my time.

Usually, that is my researching a certain problem on the Net at home, that we (customer & I ) cannot seem to fix after trying the " Basic repairs". I do this for them and for myself, to find the problem, solve it, have a " Forever Customer " and to know I can suggest something to other Customers that may have the same type of problem.

I know it bugs me to no end, if I can't find a solution, or hear that my Customer has found one somewhere else. lol. I also can stop by my Store or another one in our area, on my day off, see they are Busy and just start helping Customers on phone or at the Parts Counter..

So Workaholic ??? Naw, Just Dedicated I think.. Or just a Bit " Car Crazy "

I need to do something during the day that involves a paycheck, but I don't make my world revolve around it. My mother has been a workaholic all my life and it drives me crazy. She never has time for me, her husband or herself. Growing up, I don't remember her being around.
Also, my mom says work gets her mind off of things (which works for me at times as well), but constantly working makes me think that she has a lot of problems that need to be resolved.
