I am going to call up the photographer and talk to her about it.

I think this is a great decision. What you wouldn't want to happen is anything that may spoil your wedding day. If you are even worried at all about the picture and package and price then it's too much. Plus, I really think that honesty pays and I've had good things happen to me for pointing out errors and mistakes that could have saved me $. In the end, it was about my integrity and what was worth more, integrity of the few dollars or things I would have gotten away with. Let us know what they say when you tell them.

The price is not too much. Weddings in general are expensive. It just would have been great to save a little...but that's not how I want to save. Sorry- I get criticized a lot about prices from family and friends (Who've been married MANY years ago when things were less expensive) so it's like picking at an open wound. I realize it's a lot of money, but it is what it is.

I don't think that's what Claret meant. She was talking about even a little bit of worrying is too much.

Yes, sorry if I wasn't clear - I wasn't talking about the actual cost of the photographs, I was talking about the cost to your nerves on your wedding day. My daughter was married 6 1/2 years ago so I'm familiar with the cost of things. One of the best things I was able to do to save her some money was make her wedding dress. We saw the one she wanted ( over $5000) and I was able to almost replicate it and hours and hours later (and millions of seed pearls later), she wore it down the isle.

Sorry, it's very stressful... I am going through a lot of things right now. Possible job change, moving, buying a house, planning a wedding... ugh... makes sense now what you meant. Sorry! It will all be worth it in the end though. Right? lol

I think each bride has their one expensive thing that most people would go "Woah, you're insane" over...but if it's what makes your day everything you wanted, then that's all that matters! By the way...why didn't anyone tell me how stressful it is to plan a wedding??? What the heck!?
