    Cool Valentines day!

So I was wondering what you all are doing for your SO's or friends on V-day?

I made my boyfriend a card lol...and he took the 14th off (so he can take me to my rheumatologist appointment in the AM) so we are going to spend the WHOLE day at the hospital. Not your typical Valentines day, but it should be fun!

card.JPG...its sideways but you get the picture lol

My bf and I are just not into Valentines day. We exchange chocolates usually and go out for dinner but nothing other than that. He has gotten me either a single rose or as a change last year a bouquet of roses so he will probably do that again but yeah we are very low key about it. Maybe we will cuddle on the couch this year and watch a movie, not sure. But I do not need him to buy me things show me he loves me, nor do I ask him to.

3 things: Do what I have been doing for the last...
    1) 23 years: Mope that I don't have a guy
    2) 10 years: Mope that I don't have a guy and I'll never be with Kurt Cobain
    3) 5 years: Mope that I don't have a guy, I'll never be with Kurt Cobain and I'm still a virgin

Such a useful "holiday" this is.

Husband and I have no plans outside of buying the biggest box of chocolates that Walmart carries. I don't like to fight the crowds at restaurants on holidays, so I've decided to make us a nice dinner. I just don't know what it'll be yet!

    Ace....

I am sorry that your Valentines Day will be spent in hospital, the whole day.

This is a new relationship and one whereby you have a new flatmate, soulmate and boyfriend all rolled into one, and he obviously loves you to be there for you, with you on this occasion whereby you will be fine It's what Valentines Day is all about, togetherness in love..

Your day will overshadow everyone elses, regardless (sorry guys ) because you are going through something and he will be there for you.

Funny, I was talking to a dear friend... He mentioned Hospital and Valentines Day, I questioned him and he advised he was just answering someone else, he is fine.

Why is that? That was this morning... Guess he told me, before you told me

    Love you.

Remember, it's special as he is with you, the rest is man made, I've said that since 2008 here, and aint changing that now.

I have a card that will make my darling laugh, I may buy a rose but other than that, I will hold him in my heart for that day more so, as he is, special...

We aren't doing anything special. We do random sweet things for each other all year, and don't really see the point of 14Feb being "more special" for some reason. /shrug

    I don't have a SO
But I get to meet and have my lunch hour tomorrow ,with the GI Joe we Adopted for Christmas. He's back in Washington State for a couple of weeks. Just got in from Afghanistan.

So it will be cool to actually meet in person, instead of just keeping in tough on the Net .

We're not really doing anything... V-Day isn't a big deal for us. A lot of times, we don't even see each other on valentines day, either I am out of town traveling or he has his meetings he needs to attend that night. This time I won't actually be traveling, but he's got some training exercise he has to do for the fire department so we won't be able to do dinner and I'll probably be asleep by the time he gets back home. So I might get some pretty flowers, and I'll probably get him his favorite candy (Reese's PB cups) and a cute, funny card. Maybe I'll make his favorite cookie recipe, we haven't had those in a long time so he would like that.

We also talked about Valentine's-gifting ourselves with a new digital camera since ours took a poop a few weeks ago. How romantical! LOL

We love each other every day, why should February 14 be any different?

lol, thanks mum. I was super glad he took the day off of work to be with me for this one. Im quite lucky to have found this guy. I keep telling him that he doesnt have to stay, because caring for a sick person is no fun, but he says that seeing me smile makes it all worth it. So...we settled on not doing the Valentines day thing. Like you, Little..I HATE crowded resteraunts and theatres...so we are celebrating BLOWJOB DAY...Feb 15th...everybody mark that day down!!!!
