    Thumbs up Some ideas.

    Hi patricias.

    Two games I remember:

Don't say 'Baby': Every woman is given a safety pin with a small piece of ribbon tied on it. Instruct them all that no one is allowed to say the word 'baby'. If anyone hears another person say the word 'baby', they take that persons pin, and they are out of the game. At the end of your shower, the person who has collected the most pins gets a prize.

Guess how big your belly is: You need a few rolls of toilet paper for this. Each guest has to guess how big your waist is. They each tear off the length of toilet paper that they guess will fit around your waist. The person that comes the closest gets a prize.

Shop around your local 99 cent store for simple party favor ideas. I remember at one baby shower, someone gave out these little glass jars with glass lids filled with candies, tied on top with pink and blue ribbons (she didn't know if she was having a boy or girl). You could probably use pink and white jelly beans or those candied almonds, maybe Smarties because of their pastel colors. They were inexpensive to make and looked pretty.

    Have a beautiful baby shower.

    Thanks alot of the ideas!
I also found this other game, where the women have to guess the baby foods flavors by tasting them, whoever guess the most wins a prize!

I gave a shower last year, we did the baby food game, but didn't taste them - look and smell was enough. We also put pink cotton balls in a jar, and the guests had to guess how many. You can also buy the pink MMs to guess how many. If your shower isn't too big, a word scramble is always good. Fruit kebabs was a crowd favorite, along with pink punch. Good luck!

I saw a similar game at the last baby shower I went to. I think the mom-to-be fed the foods to her husband and he had to guess what they were. Whoever guessed how many of the foods he could name wins. There are many variations on these games.

Another idea: At my one and only baby shower, the hosts had a pink plastic umbrella hung up near the front door that guests signed with blessings, good wishes, advice, etc. You could also do this with a poster. Write in fancy letters "Patricias Baby Shower" and the date and decorate it. Put it near your entrance for your guests to sign. They may sell something like this ready-made in a store. It's a nice keepsake to remind you of who came to your shower.
