I'm in a dilemma. My boyfriend and I's apartment is the "event place", as in we have our friends over for birthdays, holidays, and casual get togethers. We love to host, and after planning our Christmas party, we began to come up with ideas for New Years Eve. The main problem, we don't have cable/satellite! How can you have New Years without watching the ball drop?
So my question is this, do any of you know of a site on the internet where they stream the ball dropping live? We have a PlayStation3 which we use to watch tv shows and movies from online, so I just need the right website. I'm checking the major network's sites as we speak, but if anyone knows exactly, please share!
We don't have local news/station, I live in a town of under 1,000. The only thing here is a radio station, and what good does that do me? I need a WEBSITE that streams video of the action, since I do NOT have cable/satellite at all.
It's amazing to me that you can see live activity from around the world...I saw a link for New Years Eve 2007 so that you can see what it looked like last year. I hope this is what you're looking for.

Reason: left out New...as in 'New' Years Eve...
Wow Ali that is AWESOME! Alot of my friends do not have cable either but do have internet (go figure) so when we are partying hard there I can still see the ball drop, which makes me oh so happy THANKS FOR SHARING!
