I've noticed one or two rogue hairs on my shaft within the last year, which is pretty gross . For them, it's plucking all the way. Hurts less than you'd think.

I have experimented with plucking hair down there. It's not so bad (as a girl,) but I cringe at the thought of a man doing it. He obviously gets rid of them, so he must do something.

Luckily the actual shaft isn't that sensitive, to be honest it really doesn't hurt much at all, probably less than eyebrows or whatever. But yeah, it's reserved to the ones, like a week ago I found one 2/3 down the length of my penis?!? I mean what the is that about? I'm even a particularly not-hairy guy.

I like to keep things neat. scrotum & shaft are NAIR'd on a regular basis and the upper pubic region trimmed to a very short fuzz with an electric razor (the kind used for trimming beards).

Long hair just gets in the way of so many things, and clean-up is much easier.

My guy doesn't exactly groom his, but he keeps it clean and that's all that I can ask for.

Plus, I hate shaving myself completely because when the hair grows back in it is indescribably annoying. So I only shave the bikini area and keep the rest trimmed...meaning if I were to ask him to shave all the way, it would be a little unfair. He doesn't complain, so neither do I.

I am new to these boards. 33 yr old wife and mom. thought Id give my 2 cents on this. My husband is shaved completely smooth and I prefer it that way. Sex feels better and I prefer giving a guy oral when he is hairless. Ironically enough, he is shaved smooth, but prefers me natural and "bushy"

I think a guy shaving everything downstairs just seems weird. I have tried shaving downstairs, and it wasn't the most pleasant thing. Bumps and a what seemed to be a slight rash is what I got.

I trim mine. Well I use to. Haven't did it in a while. But since nobody else is down there, I just normally keep it as is.

Not really true. Hair in the mouth is gonna be a given.
I don't like totally bald on a man, but I like a little neatness also. Gotta have a little hair to look masculine.

I am an OPTION #1 man.

I shave the shaft and the boys with a double-bladed disposable razor. For shaving cream I use soap. NOTHING TO IT. For me (I don't know if it's so for everyone) the closest shave I get is shaving down the shaft and continuing down the boys toward the "taint". If I shave from "taint" towards the front, it works, but doesn't get quite as close a shave.

I have nicked the boys before. NO BIGGIE. Tell your man not to be afraid. If he uses due caution and is careful, he'll never nick them. I also trim the top close. For this, I use hair grooming trimmers and I use a "comb" on the end that makes it the height I want and just go for it.

There is nothing to a guy keeping himself trimmed/shaved down there. Tell the guys not to be wusses and just to do it. YOU do...

Any questions, don't be afraid to ask.

    Cheers.
