As women, what do we expect as far as male grooming goes in the pubic area these days? Since the Brazilian became popular, women have pretty much been expected by men to stay well groomed and smooth down there. But are women now looking to men to step up to the plate and give some attention to this area as well? I've noticed that men pretty much fall into 3 categories along these lines:

Option 1-totally smooth and hairless shaft and sack with a well trimmed patch of hair on top

Option 2-competely bald with no hair down there whatsoever

Option 3-au naturale with no grooming at all

Personally, I have always preferred Option 1 because of the neat look and the smoothness of the equipment area. What does everyone else prefer and why? Are you all able to get your guy to groom to your preference? I'm trying to survey here so we can get a consensus and then I will let everyone know the results!

I keep telling my bf to shave so I can give him a bj withouth having hairs in my mouth. He's afraid because he said that he doesn't know how to do it. So I told him I would. It's very easy. Any suggestions on how I could make it easier for him?

I love my men to be au naturale -- very manly! But if I was with a particularly hairy man I just might change my mind! LOL

Fortunately, for me, that is not an issue with my current boyfriend -- I love him just the way he is!

Myself, I have opted for the Brazilian, which we both love.

Well, as a guy, I just take a pair of scissors down there and get as close as I can. I don't really like the idea of how much it could itch, shaving as a guy.

I think it's slightly different with men and women in regards to oral sex, as unless your partner has a really small penis or you are an expert deep throater, you won't really be getting hairs in your mouth. Wheras a womans sensitive parts are a LOT closer to hair...

And I'd guess that guys would have in innate fear of razors going down there, I know for a start I'd never let someone else take a razor to me....

I still live at home (unfourtently) I'll have to do it when I'm by myself and he's over. Thanks for the tip. I'll have to true it. I do it for myself and him, why can't he? You know. I just love him for him but I keep getting hair in my mouth.

My husband wouldn't be anyting but natural. He wouldn't shave unless maybe it was really *a thing* with me. Maybe not even then. Anyway....I don't mind natural. It would be a kind of excitement to see someone shaved...maybe in a pic. I am sure I have seen it in the past (in a mag) or in porn movies. I'll have to look for it and pay attention to that!

Well personally I liked him to be shaven. I mean if he expects me to do it he can do it too. So me and my guy have an understanding, I go clean.....he goes clean and it has always worked out.

I like my man to be natural, though he does give everything a bit of a haircut in hot weather, just a trim with scissors, in order to be more comfortable. Personally I take the view that a man has to be happy with what he's given, and for me, that means the spiders' legs are dealt with (because it looks bad in a swimsuit) and everything else is pretty au naturale. I won't whip anything down there off for a man, even if he asks nicely, and getting a Brazilian is completely out of the question. All I can think is "ouch!" lol
