I have a theory as to why your poll hasn't gotten more responses.

About a year before I started dating the woman who would become my wife, I was spending time with an older woman with whom I had what you might call a "friendship plus benefits" relationship. We had dated in the past, then broken up, but stayed in touch.

So there was this one weekend where we agreed to meet in Death Valley (a national park in California for you non-Americans), and one thing led to another and we ended up making love out in the middle of the desert at night, in the back of a pickup truck I used to have. At the time I thought we had a nice, mutually satisfying encounter that weekend. But over time, especially after I settled down with my wife, that night took on a different shape in my memory.

You see, this woman had previously been married, but had gotten a divorce due to the relationship turning abusive. She knew that relationships with younger men rarely turn into serious commitments, but at the same time I knew deep down she wanted more from me. My point is, when I think of that night, I think about the way the stars and the milky way shone bright in the sky, about her tenderness and openness to me, and the email she sent me a year later, telling me that night was the nicest thing any man had ever done for her.

My point is, do you think I give a flying f*ck about the relative quality of the orgasm I had that night? You think I was keeping score? Do you honestly believe that is how I choose to measure the most intimate and tender moments of my life?

One could no more equate the two than one could equate a car and a pencil.

That having been said, maybe the reason there aren't a great number of responses is because this is a ladies' site and maybe this has to do with women's "conditioning" growing up. Many women are conditioned from when they're little girls...not to be "sexual" people. I may not say this exactly right, but hang with my thought process for a sec...ok?

A girl's sexuality is a guarded secret. It's something that no one really talks about much and something that some (even grown up) females consider too personal to share. Girls are taught to keep it all to themselves, to remain virtuous and virginal, and to be "good girls". I don't think many women are taught to be open about their sexuality. Maybe I'm totally wrong. I just think it may be easier for a woman to discuss how they measure the most intimate moments of their life than it is to discuss how they get themselves off.

Ladies...what do you think? Do you think there's a reason why there aren't a million responses to the poll?

However, that said...many people do have preferences to positions and such. It was/is an innocent question. For me, it is a fun question. I don't really care beyond entertainment and curiousity what someone's answers are. Of course, there is more involved that an orgasm. Superfluous!

Hmmm, I would probably say that oral after a lot of sex provides the strongest orgasm... Essentially though I'd say it's more about the mental triggers than the physical, to make an amazing orgasm.
