Do we not realise that in order to find a soul

Like everything in life that's hard to achieve
you must believe!
Evolution is Darwin's theory that all animals descended from a common ancestor and then branched off into different species. Contrary to what a lot of people think it does NOT say that we humans came from gorillas. Everything evolves to adapt to its environment.
Intelligent Design believes that there is a higher power, what a lot of people call a god, who created the whole universe, everything you see and can't see. And they believe it was all for a purpose, there's a reason why we're here. That's what they believe.
I tend to lean toward Intelligent Design. At the same time I won't discount evolution. But I don't believe they have to be mutually exclusive. It's not that cut and dried.
Schools are for teaching fact, not fiction. Teaching ID in schools is ridiculous, and something that will be phased out in a matter of time, it's just a question of how long.
Should we be teaching in school that cats are bad luck?

At least that it can never be proven, and is facing a contradictory theory based on actual scientific evidence.
That's your opinion. Not everyone's. A lot of scientists admit there has to be a design behind all this. It wasn't just all haphazard.
My belief:
Yes there is a higher power that created this world and the things within it.
I do believe in evolution but evolution within species.
As far ID being fiction, can't disprove it any more than you can prove scientific evidence. Scientist Smientist
Intelligent design isnt based on scientific facts, its mumbo jumbo. I dont agree with it, i never will... the concept was rejected in the 19th century, as it is still being rejected by the modern scientific community today.
When closely examined, the living world is filled with evidence that complex organisms not only could have evolved through evolution's trial-and-error mechanism, but must have done so, because their structure, their physiology, and even their genetic makeup are all inconsistent with the demands of intelligent design.

Contrary to Ben Stein's movie Expelled and whetther you believe in Intelligent Design or not, ID has no place in public schools. In the US courts, ID has been proven to be based in religion and not science. There is an ongoing movement by conservatives to dislodge the Darwin version of evolution, creationist are now using ID wraped as a scientific ruse to accomplish this. The scientific community does not even recognize ID as a theory since it has no scientific way of being tested or the ability to be proven wrong. Human evolution is introduce in biology which is a science. Creationist wish to introduce ID into biology classes to compete with evolution. But as I have stated before, ID is not science it is religion and is illegal to be taught in public classrooms.Nup... Mainly because they are all sleeping
