That's a good idea. I think I'll keep a journal or something to progress when it happens...or even when it doesn't happen. I really am frustrated and you've given me a lot of insight. Hope your day is going well!! Mine seems to be going great so far
You are quite welcome; I'm happy to help if I can, and I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better! Getting through the dark days... well, what I've found to help is instead of giving in to my emotions and allowing myself to feel bad, I try to take a step back and figure out exactly WHAT is making me feel bad. Did something happen? Did I not get enough sleep? Have I eaten enough recently? It also helps to try to figure out WHEN exactly I started feeling down to see if something happened around that time to trigger my feelings. Doing some self-reflection helps a great deal and I usually end up figuring not only where my feelings are coming from, but also I often am able to come up with a helpful insight. Plus, once I figure out what's going on, I usually don't feel as bad. We fear the unknown and build it up to be much bigger than what it really is much of the time.
Thought I'd leave a message here if that's ok. I just wanted to thank you so much for being understanding and offering possible solutions. I am feeling a lot better now-a-days. It comes and goes for me. Sometimes a couple of hours...sometimes days. What helped you through the 'black days' as I call them?
