Just dropping by to say hi and thank you for your continual support...CW
Thank you Kym for your advice. It really helps to know that other people are going through or have been through all of this. I think I am going to see if I can bring a friend with me to the doctor's visit so I don't feel pushed around. I am still in shock that all of this is happening! I really think I would prefer for them to take them out. I am not comfortable with leaving them in my body. I just don't know if I have enough time with the insurance companies changing to find a different doctor if I need to. I will keep you posted on what happens on Wednesday. Do you know if there is a class action suit going on or has anyone seeked legal action? Any information is welcome and if you would like to email me, my email address is lang123wideopenwest.com Thanks again!
Hi Ladies, I am new to this site. I was searching for others who have had problems with the essure procedure. I had my procedure done in 03/09 and I have only had one period. I also have pain during intercourse and I am my vagina gets very, very dry during sexual intercourse. This has never happened before having this procedure done. I am going to the doctor tomorrow to have the procedure checked. I need help to understand if this procedure is causing my pain and dryness. If someone would like to contact me. I can be contacted at carringtond2aol.com. Thanks in advance.
Kym4, I am new to this site. I had essure done on July 2, 2009, and I have had terrible pelvic pain, back pain, headaches, and nausea since that time. I am looking to have them removed, and my doctor has recommended a hysterectomy as well. I ahve done research and seen alternative methods for removal, but I am having a difficult time finding someone to do it. I have another appointment scheduled with a specialist next Friday. Can you please tell me how yours were removed?
Hi again Kym, I just went to the Maude FDA site. You are right. It is very confusing. Could you please tell me the information that I need to put in. I could not find where you posted this information previously. Have you heard of anyone else that is interested in a lawsuit and found a lawyer to take it on?
Kym, thank you for the advice. I will certainly follow it. I don't want to seem completely unhappy with this pregnancy. My husband and I do feel as if this baby is a blessing and we are excited for his arrival. But as a result of an unexpected pregnancy we are going to have to move into a bigger house and of course there are major expenses with another child. Thanks again. I will keep you updated. :0)
I'll email you with the info on how to make a report to the FDA
My email is ChristineHibshmangmail.com. I am just glad I am not alone on this. I dont know how to contact the FDA and need info on that. If and when there is a class action lawsuit.. please let me know. I am soo frustrated with my doctor the company. I just want them to pay!
