I am 44 years old and have GB Strep. I've probably had it for some time, but not really known what it was, always thinking it was the dreaded thrush, but I've had some terrible stomach pains to the point where I have had to be taken to hospital due to the severity of the pain. This has tended to be around my menstrual cycle, but I have had this at other times as well.
I'm now running to the bathroom on a frequent basis and have an urge to empty my bladder straight after my visit. This is most uncomfortable and I try to occupy my mind in the hope that I can overcome the urge to run to the bathroom.
GB Strep is making me spend more time at home and not want to go far from home. I have a very poor immune system due to a large number of tablets I am taking which have had shot my immune system. I am reluctant to take any more antibiotics if I can help it, but desperately want to be rid of this affliction.
