I'm sorry things are not better with your in-laws. I just got back from the first surgery with my parents, one eye down, one to go. Now how about those BEARS!! I'm not a huge football fan but I have high hopes for this weekend...

Neither is mine. I'll bet yours isn't any worse than mine at any rate.
Just think of all we have learned about what not to do and what not to let into your life.
Part of it, I'm starting to see, is to love with an open heart but not to give your heart to any other's keeping.

You'd be doing the women of the world (and yourself I think) a great disservice.

I'd say you are considerably better than, "not that bad". If you were single you'd have half the women on here all over you. Some of us know a good thing when we see it.

You know I'm an exsmoker, in an enclosed space it causes me to lose my voice fairly rapidly. He keeps it away from me. Actually he says he pretty much loses the smoking urge when we are together. Does that mean I'm better than a highly addictive drug?

You know just because you've lost one battle or two doesn't mean you can't win in love. YOu just have to find someone who wants to play with you not against you.

Well, pretty much the same here. Have started dating a man I've known casually since the mid 90s. So far, so good, but then its only been a week and a half. LOL. He is an independent contractor, mostly does dry wall and may be the best fhinisher in the city. I have a lot of respect for people who are good at what they do. Only down so far is that he is a smoker, who knows? He may choose to change that.

How goes life in your world? Any positive things happening? I want good things for you!

Good! Busy month as far as work and getting my parents eye surgeries completed. They both will be good to go after next Wednesday..
