ok i just read your thread and i am in the same situation more or less then yourself. only thing is my boyfriend has been jobless for the last yr. he plays video games 24/7 acts different around his friends like that. its annoying as i understand ..... what i did was paid more attention to myself id doll myself up when i was leaving for work or some where with out him but look plain jane around him it made him kind of opened his eyes and feel like i was dressing up for some one else so made him appreciate me more and give me attention like i deserve..... i dont know if that will work for ur bf ...... do you guys communicate .....weigh out the good and bad and see if that helps....more then anything talk to him even if u have to put your foot down and say "look im gonna talk and u listen and i dont wanna hear anything from your mouth until im done"sometimes thats all it takes
