No wonder...you wrote on your page, I did not get it! haha...thank you for the pics you sent me, they are lovely. It is great that you go to different places for "free". I'd love to do that myself. The business side of it could be a little issue though. We just stopped in Fresno for the night. I enjoyed our stop at the Sequioa Forest though. We were in SD and SF at the end of Dec. Funny coincidence, who knows we might have bumped at each other. In SD, we stayed in a place very close to Sea world. In SF, we stayed at Holiday Inn at the heart of the city. We are a stones throw away from SNOB (Sonoma, Napa or Beyond) - we love that place.
The Chicago trip is work, really boring stuff - helping organize a conference - I got "volunteered" by my boss since he didn't want to do it. The Korea trip is also work - I've been there twice before. Its OK, but really not that interesting, sort of like Japan, but less. (never tell the Koreans or Japanese that I thought they were similar). Guangju (or however it is spelled) does have a fantastic roller-coaster though. (yes I still ride roller-coasters - love them). This trip I'm going to a really boring part of Korea, so nothing to see, no pictures to send I think. If I do see anything interesting I'll send it. Sounds like you had a really nice trip (other than Fresno that is - dull dull dull dull). Where did you go in San Diego and San Francisco. (I was in SD christmas weekend, just before the vegas trip, forget if that was during your trip). I'll send pictures next time I go somewhere interesting. take care RC
The long drive really was fun. We got lost, missed our exits, stopped for gas, food and RR (and of course I take long in the RR)...the RR thing was the only issue (I cannot hold my water long enough since I drink H2O a lot), we switched driving one time, then he noticed i kept drinking water and stopped often to RR, and then when I got back in the car, I noticed he hid all the water bottles - I called him out, he did call me out too, then I kept silent. Then I asked again since I was the one driving...explained I needed water to clear my throat and ease my acid reflux, etc...he understood. No fights really...we laughed at the fact that he rationed my water intake. I think you're right about the road trip. He is very observant and receptive of my emotional needs. The trip intensified all the good qualities that we both have and all the things that we can build on to keep our marriage forever. Tell me about your trip. Take care. Cat
We were in SF by then, and were driving towards home...Chicago is a busy place, I assume it must be business related, just like Korea. (pics, please :-P)
Back and in good shape.Lol. We went through I-40 as you said. We drove from OKC, to NM, then AZ (Grand Canyon), NV (Vegas), CA (SD, LA, SF - Napa Valley and Sonoma for wine tasting; Fresno and then Sequia Forest, then San Bernardino Mtns.). The trip was awesome. Aside from the sights, we also had a good time in the car - got to know each other more and more...mind you, no fights during the entire trip. How about your adventures?
Bump!
Welcome back (just guessing you are done with a trip and on to another).
Happy Thanksgiving, Richard!
Nah, just my emotional upheavals related to menstruation - blame it all on Aunt Flo!
Argh! I am in this emotional state where I feel so insecure about things...why?
