True, I believe you. I'm just being a perfectionist (who's never perfect at all) LOL! I'm here in Savannah right now, with my BF. He works very early (5:30am) and gets home at 6pm 7days/week. I am just staying in the hotel all this time and keeping myself busy (sleeping, eating, reading, blogging, watching tV.hahaha!) How are you?
art has nothing to do with being an amateur or a professional!! Im certaintly not what you would call a "professional." I dont have a degree or any formal training. I have taught myself for ten years though. the only thing people can teach you about art is the technique. after that, its just practice practice practice, and getting comfortable with letting your real self come out through your art. you CANNOT fail at art. no matter what anyone tells you! it is IMPOSSIBLE TO FAIL AT ART!! I press flowers too!! I just put them between the pages of books. I've never done anything with them, but I've seen some very beautiful things done with pressed flowers! Let your art come out in that form!! THAT WILL BE BEAUTIFUL!!!
cool! I wish I can sketch like you do. i am just an amateur. I have that vision in my mind, i just couldn't get it out. I guess it is more of being afraid to fail during the first try. Picking flowers is my thing, too! My BF bought me a flower pressing kit. i wish to start using it this summer. Maybe this way, I can do some art. how about that?
oooo!! sounds like sooo much fun! my summer has been going very very well. I've just been relaxing now that school is out. I went on an adventure the other day and did a sketch of some flowers, made friends with a wild turkey (?) haha, and picked some beautiful wild flowers!! I've also been sitting on the porch in the morning, enjoying my cup of tea, cuz I havnt got to do that in such a long while. I LOVE SUMMER!
hi there! i have been spending my vacation with my BF and his family...his dad makes me feel like a Daddy's girl. We rode a tandem bike together while BF follows us in his single ride, enjoying the "view" (my butt) - how about that! I haven't purchased the other Miyazaki films that I intended to (really a tight-wad)... How about you, dear...how is your summer going?
