Well, not every site I visit, but definitely ones I have posted on, you never know what one allows and what one doesn't.

It's pretty simple here, no outbound links or advertising, treat people with respect and support.

We are extra cautious when someone starts recommending things and posting links in their first post, I do apologize, but we do get hit with an extreme amount of spam that we are constantly battling.

Once we see that you are not dropping and bolting, we will be a little bit more lenient. Once you've racked up some more posts and we see your "face" around the boards a bit more. But, no matter how much of a regular a member becomes, we still don't allow outbound links, linking within the forum is fine, but not to others.

shame i thought people would appreciate the website... how do i go about telling people of useful links is there an official way to do it?
