  1. That is great news! I'm happy about your progress. I am on the mend as well - emotionally and physically. I've been on a week-long unexplainable headache and nausea - not preggy. But I'm alright now. Be talking to you again soon. Take it easy.
  2. The knee is on the mend, so that is good. Now I just have to deal with the mental part of getting back at it. I've let myself get lazy and out of shape. I don't know why I make it so hard on myself, haha.
    How are You?
  3. Feeling better, dear? I hope you do. xx
  4. Great! Once I get a hold of some, I'd ask you how to make a good recipe out of it.
  5. Oh my god. Nothing can match my sweet tooth. It's bad. So I know how you feel. It's a constant battle with me.
Yeah, I eat a lot of quinoa actually. It's really good and super versatile.
  6. Thank you for the encouragement. I needed that. I feel better that I'm beginning to feel the "buried" muscles again. My problem is my eating habit - I crave sweets. I'm out of chocolates because even the dark ones give me headaches. Now, I'm into brownies and other sweet rice cakes - BAD!

Have you ventured on Quinoa? I'm curious about it.
  7. Don't worry. Just remember that it won't take you as long to get back what you lost as it did to get there in the first place. Just keep at it and go harder than normal 1 or 2 days a week and you'll be right back on track in no time.
  8. How are you?

I have worked out for the rest of September, slacked for the whole October, now, I'm trying to get back in the routine. I didn't gain weight, but I sure did lose muscles - and the ones I started to feel developing on my tummy area, I have lost. I'm having some difficulty breathing because of that fat build up. Im doing a whole body workout by circuit training....but at times, I feel discouraged.

    What to do.....
  9. I had Nationals in July. (that's why I've taken a break for a month) I did better than I've ever done. Won my first match by a huge margin and fought a tough, competitive fight my second match, losing on points.

I've just been camping and fishing every weekend this summer. I was lucky enough to win a full expedition white water raft in a drawing, so we built a fishing frame for it and have been floating the Yellowstone and the other rivers around here a few times a week. It's been really nice.

I have another tournament in October, still trying to decide if I want to go.
  10. Not you, too! I keep telling myself, I'll do it tomorrow, then tomorrow comes and I'd say the same thing over, and so the cycle goes. My weight is steady, but the toned muscles are starting to go behind the scenes. Hehe! Done anything else aside from fishin'?
