Thank you so much...He is now doing much better...They questioned at first if he had a Staph infection as the lower part of the incision was infected...He has been aggressively treated with antibiotics and the wound has closed...They are watching it closely for any pain or other problem...Hip surgery is not as painful but it can be much more serious in the problems that could arise...If this caused problems any more there is the possibility of another surgery to clean out the bone and joint area and another insertion and go back to square one...The problem being not only the pain and recovery but they never seed as well....It has been pretty rough...Thanks for asking...XX C
