(GOOD) Changes are happening with J. It is going to be week 2 next Monday with this experimental compromise. We found out that it is not really his playing the PS2 games that get to me the most - it was the drinking. Now that we are able to pin the main issue, he is very willing to do something. I feel like I need to write a "tag" for his "disposition", jargon in his line of work (aircraft engineering) to get this issue addressed - the way he's wired, the way he operates.
I have given up on any government since I was in high school. My mom did her best (and in succeeded) to keep me away from becoming a political activist.
I think its about power, control and money. Have you noticed that in all this budget and finance debate no one has put forward the idea of ending subsidies to tobacco companies? Or requiring large pharmaceutical companies to help pay the cost of all the government funded research that they make huge profits from? Or that we are giving away resources such as lumber to non American logging companies?
Isn't that annoying? And then make aloe Vera illegal, too! What has happened to these people?!
My guy is a 3 pack a dayer. He needs to quit for many reasons but he has to quit to get a back surgery that he will eventually end up paralyzed without. So far he isn't making much progress. Tobacco these days is more addictive than heroin. I don't understand why it is legal and pot isn't.
He doesn't drink as much as he used to prior to meeting me but still, he can lower it (and I pray totally quit - maybe when the bats turn white!). I sometimes settle to convincing myself that "at least, he's quit smoking completely" because I have asthma.
I know my pics are restricted to "friends" but I'm not sure about the VMs. I wish I some ideas on that. The guy I'm seeing does more of it than I like but not as much as he used by a long shot. It was his decision made long before I came along and then he has further reduced it since we've been together. I know it is really frustrating!
I know you are. I just wish you were with us more in person than in spirit. But love ya no matter what!
I'm always with you, ladies. I always do.
Glad to see you. Good to know you are still with us!
