Thanks; I didn't know that, though I should have. Best, TR
The little triangle on lower left of a post is a mod warning. If you click on that you get a box to note the concern and it send the link and your note to the mod thread and an email to each of the mods. It's the best way to alert us of problem posts. Thanks
No, the crutches were no fun at all, but were a real workout - you're not supposed to rest on your armpits at all, using only your hands for support - and were great for upper-body strength! But they're gone, now I'm in "boot" device for the next several weeks. Hope to be jogging by summer! Thanks, - TR
That sounds like no fun. I've only been on crutches once, for a really bad ankle sprain. I wasn't sure which was worse, hopping or using the crutches. Hopefully by spring you'll be your usual chipper self.
The crutches were a necessary evil after the Achilles tendon repair work a coupla weeks ago: I'm off the crutches, and in therapy - oh joy! But quite a way from running yet. Moral: next time the teenager says, "Last one back to the house is a rotten egg," be the egg! LOL! But my New Year's resolution is to run again.
I really dislike crutches. What did you do to earn those?
Fun is good! Got invited to a small party Christmas Eve, met a bunch of new folks, had a good time, went to bed exhausted from having spend 3 hours upright on crutches!
Had one of the best in a very long time. No money to spend but lots of fun!
Can't believe I passed the 600 mark! seems like just yesterday I first signed-up here. Hope you had a merry Christmas!
Hurray milepost!!
