Angry Menopausal And Struggling

hi everyone, i am new to this forum, i am a 32yr old mum and i recently(6 weeks ago) had my ovaries removed. i was told pre surger i would suffer with menopause but i think i played the whole hormonal thing down and my goodness they were right. i dont know how i will cope. i take about 4-5 flushes an hour and am up during the night with night flushes leaving me really tired and irratated. i know i am not alone but i would love some advice as my mum denies anything menopausal and i feel no-one understands how i am feeling. and i do question if i can continue to feel like this xx

Did your doctor discuss using HRT with you before your surgery? Sounds like you discussed something that told you that you would be thrown into menopause. If you're feeling this bad you really should go back to your doctor and see what all your choices are.

Surgical Menopause is really awful. Regular Menopause is awful! Seriously talk to your doctor about HRT. I suggest you read up on Bio Identical HRT using a compounding pharmacy so you can get your Progesterone and Testosterone back up to normal levels. You might want to have them check your DHEA levels and if you need that add it to the mix.

HRT is good for many things but its best at curing hot flashes. And the sooner you start the less (I think) risks you will have to worry about.
