Thread: Menopause? Heavy bleeding, back pain? help!

Thanks W.C. I will... the good news is I stopped cramping yesterday morning and it's now like a very light period - like my last day so hopefully that was the beefed up progesterone kicking in. We'll see....Thanks!

Hello - yes, I've been seeing my Gyn doc and after heavy bleeding and a trip to the ER and an IV to find out I'm anemic, the bleeding finally stopped and for a week I've been good.

I'm on iron supplements now and my endometrial biopsy came back negative - thank GOD...also a 2 cm fibroid found via vag ultrasound but both my Gyn doc and ER doc say that's not the cause of the abnormal bleeding - hormonal imbalance is.

Am on progesterone and will take it again Jan 1-10 and again Feb 1-10 and so on til my cycle regulates. I hope this does the trick. It's no way to live and the anemia is what has me most concerned.

Anyway, I've had lots of prayers by friends and family so that has helped immensely and given me a positive attitude.
