    Ok, I'm still confused about this whole menopause business but I'm curious about hormone levels in regards to blood tests and what is suppose to be 'normal'. Heres mine

    LH = 80 U/L
    FSH = 65 U/L
    Progesterone = 6 nmol/ L

    Anyone want to compare??? P.S I'm 39yrs old

    I've been told it all depends on where you are at in your cycle when it comes to this blood test. I've had 2 of this test so far, they were done 3 yrs apart.
    My first test they only did the FSH test, at that time it was 9.9. I then had this test done again back in Sept. This time they included the LH part also. Here's what my results were...
    LH = 50
    FSH = 23

    The ranges for postmenopausal are...
    LH 15.9 - 54.0
    FSH 23.0 - 116.3

    So according to my test I'm am barely at the post stage, but maybe not all the way there yet.
    However, your numbers would have a tendency to indicate you are post! I don't know what the norm is for progesterone.

    Hope this helps with some info maybe.
