Hi! My name is Juanell and I am 35 years old and I just recently found out that I am starting to go through the change of life. I am new to all of this so please bare with me. My mother went through menopause at the age of 30 and my sister went through it at the age of 36. I have had all the symptoms except I still have periods but they are very short periods. I have hot flasshes, fuzzy thinking, not sleeping, gaining weight(even though I exercise), feeling like I am going crazy, can't concentrate, no sex drive, irritable, snappy, exhausted ect.... I went to have my hormone levels checked and my progesterone is very low. I have just started my Bio-identical hormone therapy progestrone creme and am hoping that it will help. I am hoping to make friends on here and be able to talk to people who are going through the same thing and will understand.

    Hi Jpooh29.

I am 46, and no doubt it's on it's way.

I have to say that before my periods now, I seem to sometimes have lower blood pressure, lighter periods although they were always light, but I do feel a change.

Do you have more pain? Period style pain before your period?

I tried eating more iron last time and that worked, so I am not sure if I am just suffering of requiring more iron or about to go through this.

I actually don't know alot about it and won't look it up haha, lazy plus being positive I kind of think the less I know perhaps, the less I'll worry about what happens and therefore be one of the lucky ones that doesn't realise she's going through it.

Best wishes, I continue to say, it sucks being a woman.

Having said that our bodies are much better to look at and we get to wear makeup and dresses and feel sexy so it's not all bad.

I got to disagree CW. Being a woman doesn't suck, It's wonderful! I wouldn't want to be man. Now really truly...would you?
