Hi everyone! I am 40 years old and have had the blood test (after many symptoms) for menopause and much to my and my doctors surprise, it came back positive. So I had not had my period now since October 2008, until the other day that is, unbelievably it came back after almost 18 months! I called my doctor and am going in tomorrow for some blood work prior to my regular annual next month, should I be concerned? I am trying not to get too stressed but it is a little hard, anyone else ever had this issue?

Yes I went last Monday for an ultra sound and after reading those results he had me come back on Friday for an endomitrial biopsy, I won't know those results for about a week. He seemed a little stumped since the blood work indicated I was still menopausal, I know my first impule was to think the worst but I have read it can be several different (some pretty harmless) things so I will just have to wait. You should call your doc.
