I've just started to do some thing about my hotflashes (vitamins, exercise ect.) and I think they're working but today I noticed, I get hotflashes before I leave the house, so sweaty just in face I can't wear make-up and today, My Mom is staying with me after her surgury, all has gone well but today she brought up some old family issues (yuck) and my face is starting to sweat and I'm so hot I put my hair up. Has any one noticed hot flashes connected with stress or do I just get hot when I'm nervous? I know I can't elliminate all stress but if there's a connection I'd like some input. Thank you,: am I hot or crazy?

I find when you exert yourself physically about the house or going out, yes sometimes I get hot flushes but haven't noticed it being connected with stress personally. I find I am more aware of my hot flushes when I am around people so maybe that could be it? I too have started a new herbal remedy hoping it will work called Maca, its early days yet so not sure how well its working. How is your vitamins and exercise working?

I've noted a definite connection with stress. I don't know if it's because when stressed I don't eat as well or sleep as well but once destressify myself, no more flashes.
