Am I going crazy !!

Can anyone tell me if getting your ovary and tubes removed can cause early menapause I asked my doctor and she thinks I'm fine but I am so moody and bad tempered which I never was and now my period is two weeks late and some days I think my head is going. My family just say its the change but I,m only 40 ahhh help!!!
