I have found that a positive attitude, good diet including soy milk (very restricted dairy) exercise and sex, keeps the temperature problems at bay.
Hi everyone,
I found this forum by surfing the net and am glad I found it. I am 48 years old and have completed my perimenopausal period. For the last year I have been suffering with hot flashes and night sweats several times a day. I haven't had any episodes now for two months, God Bless!! But I am wondering if this is temporary or will I get them back again. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks~Sherbears

I'm wondering if I am having hot flushes. The weird thing is I get a horrible sensation in my stomach right under my ribs which isn't really a "pain" but is very uncomfortable, strange and quite unbearable. Shortly after it begins my face gets incredibly hot and red which would be a more normal symptom. Today I took a dose of enos in case it was a strange case of indigestion and I promptly vomited lunch. I am 46 and women in my family experience early menopause. I don't menstruate as I had an emergency hysterectomy from bleeding and fibroid but kept my cervix and ovaries. Do other people get strange "pains" in their stomach as a precurser to the "hot" part??? I would be grateful for your thoughts.
I have experienced the dreaded about to go through, missing for months then having periods sometimes twice been great the last few months fingers crossed another couple of years at least
But vomiting? stomach pain, that is something else, in my opinion, your body is telling you there is something wrong... I would urge you to go and get an ultra sound, blood test.
With hot flushes? I experienced irritable symptoms and sweats on my chest but like WC said positive mind, exercise and happiness in life seems to honestly help

Every woman is a bit different but I agree with CW that is sounds like something other than hot flushes. Are you gluten sensitive or do you have any food sensitivities? The red face and abdominal pain sounds more in keeping with that.
