Well, just had a follow up dr. appt. It has become clear to her that my sympthoms from last week were because of an bacterial infection that has cleared due to the antibiotics I finished. I did have a boil that would not leave, but it has completed healed as of yesterday. And she said I have been in menopause for some time I just did not know it because of the hysterectomy 10 years ago.

Back to normal since Monday - no vertigo, no chills, hot flashes are managable and are the ones I am familiar with. I have begun taking over the counter "Remifemin" as of Monday which is estrogen free, we will see if it helps my moods, hot flashes, etc., it contains 20 mg black cohosh which several people have suggested.

Thank you ItsASecret and the people who post on this forum, for guidance and information.

Changing, you find someone close to you and share/vent out what you feel so that it would make you feel good. Dont stay away from your family, make them your support group. They will understand, give them the benefit of the doubt.
