Unhappy Not sure what to do next!

Dear All, wonder if anybody can give me some advice!
I am 48 and always had regular periods. I was late for 11 days beginning of Jan/Feb and went to the doctor. I am glad to say that I am not pregnant, so she took a blood test (including one for the menopause), but everything came back normal apart from my iron level being a bit low. Anyway, I came on 4 days later and although a lot lighter than normal it lasted for 15 days. Started again a couple of days later for 4 days than it stopped again and now I am having all the symptoms of coming on again. Just not sure what to do! Do I go back to the doctor or just put up with it all untill it settles down. Lost all interest in everything because it's getting me down. I am glad my husband is so understanding as he has to put up with me and doesn't get a lot back in return, guess you know what I mean.Any ideas?

Default Go with the Flow

pardon the pun

welcome to this wonderful journey, try to relax and just take it as it comes, unless of course it bothers you severely.

it is the unpredictability that can make things so exciting, all depends on how you look at it i choose to enjoy the roller coaster, wheeeee ... i have good days and bad days, c'est la vie, i celebrate them all.

at one stage i was a total mess, lots of anxiety, aches and pains etc, i consulted a homoeopath who got me sorted very quickly, since then it has been good enough to cope better with the not so good days.

my period has been irregular for two years now, i can always tell when i have been ovulating still or not, so know fairly well what kind of month i am in for LOL

so glad you have a supportive partner, makes all the difference!

hope things get easier for you soon
