Angry Will the flashes ever stop?!

Thanks to endo, I had to have a hysto almost 14 years ago. I started flashing about 12 hours after surgery. For the first 8 months I flashed every 40 minutes around the clock. Over the years, the flashing has diminished some. I'm down to about 8-10 a day; sometimes more, sometimes less. I've been on prescription meds, OTC meds, tried herbal remedies and health-food remedies. At one point I was taking 4 times the normal dose of Premarin and it didn't even slow them down. I've been to numerous "specialists" who simply ended up befuddled and ultimately had no idea what to tell me. I have a feeling that the large amount of stress I live with daily would be easier to deal with if the flashing stopped. Every night I fight for 8 hours or more just to manage 2 hours of undisturbed sleep. Once outdoor temps get above 50, the flashing increases. The only way I've found to keep from flashing is to keep my body so cold that every muscle, bone, and joint aches so badly I could scream. Does it ever stop?
